How I help you

Every property is different, so the way I work is shaped around what I find, the people involved and what the property actually needs.

01.

Guest experience & personalisation

I look at the details that shape how a stay feels, from presentation and consistency to guest preferences and the small moments that make someone feel genuinely noticed.

It might be remembering how a returning guest takes their coffee, noticing they’re cold before they ask for a blanket, or picking up on something mentioned in passing and acting on it later. None of these things areis particularly complicated, but together they can completely change how personal a stay feels.

Often, it’s the smallest things that tell a guest somebody is paying attention.

02.

Housekeeping & property care

Teams are taught to understand what they’re looking after, the correct products, tools and techniques to use, and importantly, the why behind the work they do.

The wrong product or cleaning method can damage finishes and furnishings, while equipment and appliances can have their lifespan shortened simply because nobody has been shown how to look after them properly.

It’s about caring for the property, rather than simply cleaning it.

03.

Laundry & linen standards

I look at how the laundry is being managed, whether the right practices are being followed and where the team could work more effectively and efficiently.

Correct stain treatment is a big part of this. A stained pillowcase doesn’t necessarily need to be written off. Understanding the stain, how to treat it correctly and what should happen before it reaches the wash can make the difference between saving good linen and replacing it unnecessarily.

Better laundry practices mean less waste, fewer unnecessary replacements and better care of everything that passes through the laundry.

04.

Preserving the design vision

Every detail within a property has been considered for a reason. The operational team then plays an important role in maintaining what the owners and interior teams have worked to create.

Over time, a chair gets moved and doesn’t quite make its way back, or cushions are arranged differently from their original placement. Small changes can gradually move a space away from how it was designed to look and feel.

I work alongside interior design and property teams to understand the intention behind those details and translate it into practical training for the people looking after the spaces every day.

Each space has been carefully considered. Maintaining it deserves the same care.

05.

Team training & practical systems

Training is specific to the property and focused on those responsible for delivering the guest experience. I work with them to build their understanding and confidence, so they know the standard, how to achieve it, why it matters and how to carry it through their areas.

Practical guides and clearer workflows support the training, creating greater clarity, consistency and accountability while giving new team members clear guidance from the moment they join.

The knowledge stays within the property, rather than leaving when a staff member does.

It's the details, cared for consistently, that create an experience guests remember.

The approach

Every property is different. I take the time to understand the property, its team and where the opportunities lie, then shape the work around what we identify and what will genuinely add value.

01.

Understand & assess

By spending time in the property, both as a guest and behind the scenes, I observe the guest experience, understand the property as a whole and identify where I see opportunities for improvement.

Speaking with the team adds valuable insight into the day-to-day operation and forms another important part of the assessment.

02.

Plan & implement

From there, we discuss the findings together, agree on the areas to focus on and determine what the work should involve.

This may include hands-on training, practical guides and resources, refining workflows, clarifying roles and accountability, and improving efficiency.

03.

Review & ongoing support

Support can continue beyond the initial work through follow-up visits, refresher training, property reviews, remote consultations or guidance as the property and team evolve.

The aim is to help the team take ownership of the standards we've worked on and maintain them as the property evolves.

Create an experience guests remember

The most memorable properties are shaped not only by what guests see, but by how they leave feeling. I’d love the opportunity to contribute to that experience.
